Welcome! My name is Amy, and I have experience as a nanny and an elementary school teacher. My husband, Jay, and I have six children. The four boys are ages 22, 19, 19 (twins!), and 16, and the two girls are 3 and 4 years old. Currently I am a stay at home mom to my teen boys and preschool girls.
The girls joined our family when they were three months and 16 months old. That’s when the daily flashbacks began: The overwhelm. The sheer exhaustion. The everyday challenges of the toddler parent life. But that’s not all. I also had flashbacks to the sweet innocence of toddlers, the love they have for their mama, and their excitement over the smallest things.
The toddler years are very trying but also very rewarding. I am here to encourage all parents of toddlers as they guide their little ones through their days—the days of wanting to throw in the towel as well as the days of never wanting this time to end.
I am committed to helping parents of toddlers find answers to their questions and solutions to their problems. Going through the toddler years with six of my own kids and a handful of nanny kids has taught me much about what works and what doesn’t. However, I don’t know everything. Every child is different, and if I don’t know the answer, I will do what I can to find it for you.
What keeps you up at night? What plagues you during the day? What are your biggest questions or struggles with your little one right now? Send me a message and I’ll do my best to help you find answers.
